This morning travel to the Forest Heritage Centre, deep in the jarrah forest of Dwellingup. Discover the eleven metre forest canopy viewing platform and a series of walkways. Early this morning watch for the famous dolphins that swim into shore. (Note: As dolphins are wild their appearance cannot be guaranteed.) The Monkey Mia Dolphins have been visiting the beach for more than forty years.
They are wild, native to the area and yet visit of their own accord up to three times per day all year round. The region is famous for its crystal blue waters and the pristine white shell and sandy beaches contrasting against the red pindan soil of the North West. The rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps take an optional sailing cruise to spot dugong and dolphins. (B) |
