The Pinnacles
Travel to Yanchep National Park, where you will enjoy an Aboriginal cultural experience. Meet Aboriginal guides who will treat you to the enchanting sounds of the didjeridu. Visit Nambung National Park to view the mystical Pinnacles, formed by calcified limestone thousands of years ago. In places they reach up to three and a half metres tall. Some are jagged, sharp-edged columns, rising to a point; while others resemble tombstones. Stay: All Seasons Geraldton (B/D) |

Kalbarri National Park
Visit Kalbarri National Park and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Murchison River Gorge from Hawks Head Lookout. Travel to Hamelin Pool to see the world's best known colony of Stromatolites, then visit spectacular Shell Beach, formed by billions of tiny white seashells. Continue to Monkey Mia this afternoon. Exmouth
At Coral Bay we join a sub-sea viewer for a cruise over the Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia's largest coral reef. It is a virtually untouched barrier reef of 260km length protecting a shallow, brilliant white sandy lagoon of clear tropical waters. One of the rare places on earth where you are able to walk from the beach straight onto a coral reef. More than 500 species of tropical fish and 220 species of coral make up the Ningaloo Reef; a protected marine park. Karijini National Park
Enjoy a guided tour of the Pilbara Open Cut Iron Ore Mine. You will be amazed by the massive pit and see the huge machinery in action. Journey into Karijini National Park. The startling landscape of spectacular gorges, waterfalls and rock pools, created by millions of years of erosion, provides a striking contrast to the stark red of the Pilbara landscape. Broome 'Free Time'
Enjoy a day at leisure exploring this tropical hideaway. You may wish to relax on magnificent Cable Beach, one of the most stunning beaches in the world, with 22km of white sand and clear tropical water. There are a number of options available and your Tour Director will be able to help you with suggestions. Perhaps take a spectacular scenic flight over the Buccaneer Archipelago or ride a camel at sunset on the beach. Stroll through Chinatown, home to some of the world’s finest pearl showrooms. (B) |

Geikie Gorge - Halls Creek
Travel to the remote township of Fitzroy Crossing. Cruise through spectacular Geikie Gorge which has been formed by the waters of the Fitzroy River tunnelling through the Napier Range. Watch for freshwater crocodiles, fruit bats and wallabies as the 30 metre high walls of the gorge tower above us. Later we travel to Halls Creek, on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert at the doorstep to the majestic World Heritage listed Purnululu National Park.. Stay: Best Western Motel, Halls Creek (B/D) |

Argyle Diamond Mine
We travel just north of Halls Creek and enter the Argyle mining lease to visit the Lirrgarn Argyle Diamond Mine for a guided tour of the world's largest diamond mine, which produces one quarter of the world’s diamond annually. Ord River - 5 Rivers Lookout
Cruise the placid waters of the Ord River. Keep a look out for the prolific birdlife which inhabits this water way, before arriving at Lake Argyle. We then visit the Historic Durack Homestead. See the Ord River Irrigation Scheme, Hidden Valley National Park and visit Kelly's Knob Lookout. This afternoon travel to Parry Lagoon Nature Reserve. See the bird life of this region and learn about traditional lifestyles. Continue to Wyndham to the 5 Rivers Lookout. (B/D) |

Today we see the Ord River Irrigation Scheme, visit Hidden Valley We enter Nitmiluk National Park for a magical cruise through Katherine Gorge. Continue to the Adelaide River War Cemetery for a visit and inspection, before arriving in Darwin, the tropical capital of the Northern Territory. Enjoy an orientation tour of the city on arrival.
