Tour Itinerary

Drive through sandhill country towards Kings Canyon, stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station (own expense) along the way.

Continue on to Watarrka National Park where you can make the rocky climb with your Guide to the rim of Kings Canyon to be rewarded with marvellous views.

The climb may take up to 3 hours and is for those with a good level of fitness. Alternatively, you may wish to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor, an easier walk.

After lunch (own expense) we make our way back to Ayers Rock Resort.

Departs daily 4:00am (Oct-Mar), 5:00am (Apr-Sep). Free hotel pick-ups are provided at central locations. If your hotel/motel is not included then full address details of the departure point will be provided in your itinerary. Tour returns 4:30pm (Oct-Mar), 5:30pm (Apr-Sep).
